Candle holder made by hand, by ancient techniques in Tamegroute.  Handmade ceramic candle holder for dramatically beautiful dinner tables. Handmade ceramics in a village called Tamegroute, Morocco. The design of the product is made on the spot by local craftsmen. All colors and sizes differ slightly, for an even more unique effect. Combines beautifully with the ornament candle holder.

Tamegroute
Tamegroute is a village in the far south of Morocco. For centuries a family makes earthenware following the same method. All our earthenware is handmade and therefore every item is unique. This raw and pure earthenware is in various shades of color, from deep green to ochre. Dramatically difficult to find the right pieces, but dramatically beautiful when found.

Atmosphere and light
Sitting inside or outside, light creates the atmosphere. Household Hardware offers a broad collection of lamps and lanterns for inside and outside. Are you in for a romantic night for two, filled with candles? Or would you like to fill your living room with beautiful shadows, made with big, seagrass lamp shades. With the collection of lanterns and lamps of Household Hardware you will get the right atmosphere in your house.

Almost all materials used within our collection are either recycled or natural. In this way we do not contribute to the ‘plastic soup’. Also, our process of design always starts with the origin of the product and its culture. After this, together with the ‘artisan’ the new design is being made. We want to emphasize that the design of all our products is made in collaboration with, and with most respect for the artisans and the Moroccan tradition.

Ceramics
In our wide range of ceramics you can find what you need. In our designs we strive for timelessness and fantasy. All of our ceramics is handmade and high quality, without losing sight of the ease of use. Because everything is made by hand every plate, bowl or cup is unique.

We sell different kinds of ceramics. We sell raw ceramics from Tamegroute, made according to age old techniques in the colors green and ocher yellow, but we also sell more traditional ceramics, with hand painted patterns in black and white. This last type of ceramics is dishwasher and microwave proof.  We want to emphasize that the design of all our products is made in collaboration with, and with most respect for the artisans and the Moroccan tradition.
